Donald Robert Lovins, age 85, passed peacefully at Porta Caeli Hospice, where he received wonderful care. Donald was an honest and caring man. After serving in the United States Navy, he continued a life of service as a police officer. He was dedicated to helping and making his community safer. His sense of duty, integrity and quiet strength defined the way he lived and worked. Above all else, Donald was a loving

and devoted family man that cherished his family and friends. Donald will be remembered for his loyalty, kindness and unwavering love.
Donald left his sister Barbra Reams and Micheal Lovins. Donald was preceded in death by his three wives, Karen Grider, Linda Gardner and Margaret Dalton. Donald and Karen had five children, Gina Rice, Sherri McLean, Donald Robert II, John Lovins and Leonard Lovins. John passed April 26, 1991.
Donald has 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. His legacy of service, honesty and love will live on through the many lives he touched and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
