Preston tournament moved up to Wednesday

Due to projected inclement weather later this week, officials have announced a schedule adjustment for the 2026 Patrons Bank Invitational Basketball Tournament. The tournament will now begin on Wednesday, with all games continuing to be played at the Jim Waller Event Center in Preston.

The tournament, sponsored by Patrons Bank, will run Wednesday through Friday, featuring both boys and girls brackets and a full slate of area teams. Admission is $5 per day, and OSSAA passes will be honored.

Tournament officials encourage fans, play- ers, and families to take note of the updated start date and game times as teams navigate winter travel conditions.

Round 1: Wednesday, Jan. 21 • 11:20 a.m. – Wewoka vs. Red Oak

• 2 p.m. – Silo vs. Allen

• 4:40 p.m. – Earlsboro vs. Preston

• 7:20 p.m. – Hartshorne vs. Morris Semifinals: Thursday, Jan. 22

• 11:30 a.m. – Winner of Wewoka/Red Oak vs. Winner of Silo/Allen

• 2:30 p.m. – Winner of Hartshorne/Morris vs. Winner of Earlsboro/Preston Championship: Friday, Jan. 23

• 10:20 a.m. – Consolation Game

• 1 p.m. – Third-Place Game

• 3:40 p.m. – Boys Championship Game -Girls Bracket Round 1: Wednesday, Jan. 21

• 10 a.m. – Red Oak vs. Morris

• 12:40 p.m. – Silo vs. Preston

• 3:20 p.m. – Wilson vs. Allen

• 6 p.m. – Wewoka vs. Earlsboro Semifinals: Thursday, Jan. 22

• 1 p.m. – Winner of Red Oak/Morris vs. Winner of Wewoka/Earlsboro

• 4 p.m. – Winner of Silo/Preston vs. Winner of Wilson/Allen Championship: Friday, Jan. 23

• 9 a.m. – Consolation Game

• 11:40 a.m. – Third-Place Game

• 2:20 p.m. – Girls Championship Game – With multiple county and regional teams represented, the Patrons Bank Invitational once again promises three full days of competitive basketball. Tournament organizers say moving the start date forward will help ensure safe travel and allow teams to complete the event as scheduled despite the winter forecast.

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, as weekday daytime games will begin Wednesday morning.

All games will be played at the Jim Waller Event Center in Preston.
