Patrons Bank Invitational set Jan. 22-24 at Preston

Area basketball teams will converge on Preston later this month, as the Patrons Bank Invitational Tournament tips off Jan. 22-24, with all games played at Preston. The three-day event will feature both boys and girls brackets, including squads from Preston, Morris and Wilson, showcasing a full slate of matchups from Thursday through Saturday.

— Boys Tournament Bracket The boys division opens Thursday morning with Wewoka vs. Red Oak at 11:30 a.m., followed later in the day by Earlboro vs. Preston at 2:30 p.m. Action continues Thursday evening with Silo vs. Allen tipping off at 5:30 p.m. and Hartshorne vs. Morris closing out the night at 8:30 p.m.

Friday’s boys bracket resumes with consolation and advancement games scheduled throughout the day. Games are set for 11:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., determining Saturday’s final matchups.

Championship Saturday will feature boys games at 11:30 a.m.,

SEE PATRONS BANK INVITATIONAL, PAGE B6 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., wrapping up tournament play.

— Girls Tournament Bracket Girls tournament action begins Thursday morning with Red Oak vs. Morris at 10 a.m. The afternoon slate continues with Wewoka vs. Earlsboro at 1 p.m., followed by Silo vs. Preston at 4 p.m. Thursday night concludes with Wilson vs. Allen at 7 p.m.

Friday games are scheduled for 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., as teams move through the bracket toward Saturday’s finals.

The girls tournament concludes Saturday with games set for 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

— Admission Information

Admission for the Patrons Bank Invitational is $5, and OSSAA passes only will be accepted.

With a full field of teams and nonstop action across three days, the Patrons Bank Invitational promises to be a highlight of the mid-season basketball schedule at Preston. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan ahead to catch all the tournament action.
