City of Okmulgee offices and public works operations will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The closure will include City Hall offices and public works services for the day; however, emergency services will continue to operate as normal. Police and fire departments will remain fully staffed and operational throughout the holiday to ensure public safety.

Sanitation services will operate on an ad- justed schedule. All polycart customers, both residential and commercial, will continue to receive service as normal. Dumpster sanitation service normally scheduled for Monday, Jan. 19, will instead be collected Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Normal city operations are scheduled to resume Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Residents with questions about city services or scheduling adjustments are encouraged to plan accordingly during the holiday closure.
