James (Jim) Roland Casselman, Jr., age 68, of Liberty Morris, passed peacefully at the family farm on January 7th, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Virgie (Brill) Casselman. He is survived by his wife Benita (Leist), daughter Jessica, son James and wife Victoria, son Michael and wife Amy and his precious grandson Thomas Roland Casselman, sister Donna Anderson and husband Gary, and their daughters Catherine Anderson and Christine Hart. He loved and was loved by a host of extended family and friends, including Glenda Dumas and husband Lou, Donna Olinger and husband Doug, Brion Leist and wife Vicki.
Born on August 12, 1957, at Dr. Burnett’s office in Morris, Jim was a dedicated family man, oil man, and a man of great faith. He spent time working in the family business, and he was proud to be employed by Pense Brothers Drilling for 25 years.
Jim remained bright and positive, despite a lengthy battle with Multiple System Atrophy. His faith was strong, and he reached out to many others through his text ministry.

He sent hundreds of inspirational messages every day.
His favorite verse was John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, at the Liberty Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery.
