Darrell Edward Barnett, age 60, passed from this life on January 1, 2026, in Tulsa. He was born on February 28, 1965, in Okmulgee. Darrell had a love and passion for sports of all kinds, and was very talented when it came to anything athletic.
Darrell was preceded in death by his father, Charlie D. Barnett, Sr.; his mother, Wanda J. Barnett; and his sister, Charlene Barnett.
He leaves behind a legacy of love that continues through his family: His sons: Jeremy Monowhee of Okmulgee, Paris Celestine of Broken Arrow, Darrell Barnett, Jr. and his wife, Haven of Gardner, Kansas; and Jacob Burgess of Henryetta.
His daughters: Zana Johnson Ebingha and her husband, Jude of Oklahoma City, London Coffman of Missouri; and Destiny Faubas of Okmulgee.
His brothers: Darren Barnett of Tulsa, Timmy Barnett of Morris and Charlie Barnett, Jr. of Tulsa.
His sisters: Special Sister Shirley Stephens and her husband Jim, of Muskogee, Pamela Robinson of Morris and Loletha Dookhie and her husband Aaron of Tulsa.
Darrell is also survived by many beloved grandchildren, along with aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, each carrying memories that will continue to speak of his life, his laughter and his love.
