Dwayne E. Ausbrooks
Obituaries
December 31, 2025
Dwayne E. Ausbrooks

Dwayne Edwin Ausbrooks, 70, of Okmulgee, passed from this life surrounded by his family on December 29, 2025. A devoted husband, proud father and beloved Papall, he lived his life with strength, quiet faith and unwavering love for those he held closest.

Born on December 12, 1955, in Okmulgee, he was the son of the late Paul Edward Ausbrooks, Sr. and the late Frances Ausbrooks.

Dwayne graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1974. Shortly after, he began working for Harding Glass in Tulsa, where his work ethic and dedication laid the foundation for a lifelong career in the glass industry. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to work alongside his brother, Eddie, at Ausbrooks Cars, and later launch Okmulgee Pest Control and Okmulgee Tree Service, both of which served the community for several years.

On June 7, 1975, Dwayne married the love of his life, Debbie Ray Francis, and together they shared over 50 years of unwavering love. Their greatest accomplishment and joy in life was the family they built and raised.

In 1985, Dwayne and Debbie stepped out in faith to start their own business – Ausbrooks Glass – which grew into what is now known as Ausbrooks Glass & Truck Works, a company that was built from the ground up on honesty and integrity and continues to serve the community 40 years later.

Dwayne’s legacy was built through his love for business, family and the Lord. He was happiest supporting his children and grandchildren – whether driving his boys all across the United States chasing their rodeo dreams of calf roping, or sitting in the stands cheering at every sporting event his grandkids played.

December 12, 1955 – December 29, 2025

He cherished Sunday morning drives with a fresh Dr Pepper, gospel music on the radio, Debbie in the passenger seat and time alone with God. His truck and the open road were his church – because faith to Dwayne was personal, steady and lived out more than spoken.

Dwayne is survived by his loving wife, Debbie; son, Danny Ausbrooks and wife Rachel; son Rocky Ausbrooks and wife Samantha; daughter Melissa Ausbrooks Clark and husband Cody; and grandchildren Cooper Ausbrooks and wife Ashlyn Ausbrooks, Brylee Ausbrooks, Kellen Dean, Kaden Dean, Tesfaye Ausbrooks, Kaleb Ausbrooks and Addisyn Ausbrooks. Dwayne was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild. His legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren – in their work ethic, resilience, sense of humor and the way they love their family. He is also survived by his siblings Eddie Ausbrooks and wife Angie, Sharon Martin and husband Carl Martin, Anna Banks and husband Rick Banks and Paula Delso and husband Bill Delso. He is survived by many extended family members and lifelong friends.

Dwayne is preceded in death by his parents Paul and Frances Ausbrooks as well as his sister, Gloria Greene.

Dwayne will be remembered as a hardworking man with a heart anchored in family and loyalty. His presence was strong, and his actions spoke louder than anything he could have said. He leaves behind a legacy of grit, generosity, faithfulness and love that will carry on through the generations that follow him.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 1, 2026, at The Refuge Church with his son and Pastor Rocky Ausbrooks officiating. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Dwayne’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon- winters.com.
