Rotary Club holds Christmas Party and Pinning Ceremony

The Okmulgee Rotary Club recently gathered for its annual Christmas Party and Pinning Ceremony, an evening marked by celebration, gratitude and reflection on the shared commitment to service that defines Rotary.

Held in a warm and festive setting, the event brought members, led by President Sarah Adamor, together to recognize outstanding contributions made throughout the year while also welcoming new Rotarians into the club. The evening served as both a celebration of accomplishments and a reminder of the relationships and shared purpose that continue to strengthen Rotary’s presence in the Okmulgee community.

One of the most meaningful moments of the night came during the official pinning ceremony for new members. Amid the busy holiday season, club leaders paused to recognize individuals who have chosen to dedicate their time and talents to service, fellowship and community involvement.

Those officially pinned as new members included Diana Burton, Muriel Siegenthaler, Kaiden Nichols, Chynne Miller, Maggie Amador and Madelyn Amador. Each was recognized for bringing unique energy, skills and heart to the club, with fellow Rotarians expressing enthusiasm for the contributions they will make moving forward.

Several members were unable to attend the ceremony but were acknowledged as valued additions to the Rotary family, including Glenda Fowler, Chase Nunn, Mike Kennedy and Krystal Bohannan.

Following the pinning ceremony, President Amador presented its 2025 Rotary Awards, honoring members whose leadership, dedication and behind-thescenes service have made a lasting difference within the club and throughout the community.

The evening also included a special thank-you to Andrew Pine Harlan, who hosted the event and helped create a festive and welcoming atmosphere for all in attendance.

As the celebration concluded, members reflected on the year’s service projects and fellowship, encouraged by the reminder that Rotary’s impact is rooted in people showing up for one another and for the community they serve.
