Hall of Fame Coach Dan Sulivant, who piloted the 1975 Okmulgee Bulldogs to a Class 3A State Championship, stopped by the Times to visit with Editor Patrick Ford this week. Friday, Dec. 5, was the 50th anniversary of the win for Coach Sulivant, who paid tribute to the team and assistant coaches, along with the community who supported the Bulldogs all through the season. The retired coach, educator and counselor, resides in Okmulgee with his wife Marilyn.
