The Okmulgee Salvation Army is grateful to several county businesses that have made donations to assist in ensuring children have a great Christmas this year. Alicia Dudley of Henryetta First Family Federal Credit Union presents a check to Monica Clark, secretary of the Okmulgee County Salvation Army, while representatives from Tate & Lyle (formerly Kelco) and Great Plains Coca-Cola delivered Angel Tree Christmas gifts. Also pictured is resident Toni Wilson ringing the bell at the Okmulgee Walmart. Volunteers are still needed to ring the bell, which continues until 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve. If you wish to volunteer, please call Carol Smith at 918-758-6947 to schedule a time.
