Backed by an energetic and pumped up crowd at Brock Gymnasium, the Beggs Lady Demons delivered a complete performance Friday night, controlling the tempo from start to finish in a 57-26 victory over the Okmulgee Lady Bulldogs in a regular-season county rivalry matchup. Beggs improved to 3-3 on the season with the win while Okmulgee fell to 0-3, as the Lady Demons used balanced scoring and consistent defensive pressure to pull away early and extend the margin in each quarter.
Beggs established con- trol in the opening period behind the scoring of Padon Stallings and Kamya Stallings. The duo combined for eight points in the first quarter as Beggs jumped out to a 12-6 lead. Padon Stallings scored five points in the final eight minutes, while Triplett and Abigail Harmon added timely baskets. The Lady Bulldogs managed just one field goal in the quarter, coming from Wise, as Beggs maintained composure and closed the game efficiently.
