Schulter to host inaugural Fall Chili Cook-Off

Schulter Athletics and Cheer are gearing up for a big day of community fun and fundraising as they host their 1st annual Fall Chili Cook-Off and Cornhole Tournament, both on Saturday, Nov. 1. These family-friendly events are designed to raise crucial funds for Schulter Athletics and Cheer programs.

— Cornhole Tournament

The Cornhole Tournament will take place at the Schulter Gymnasium from 3-5 p.m. Teams are invited to grab a partner and let the bags fly in a single- elimination tournament. The registration fee is $30 per team, and cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams. Following the main tournament, participants can also test their skills in an “Air Mail” competition, with a $20 per person entry fee and a 50/50 cash prize. Food and drinks will be available at the revamped concession stand. There is a 16-team limit for the tournament, and all teams must be registered by Oct. 29th. Interested participants can register by emailing Athletic Director Price Brown at pbrown@schulter.k12.ok.us.

— Chili Cook-Off Get ready to spice things up for a good cause! Schulter Athletics and Cheer will be hosting their 1st annual Fall Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m. in the Schulter School Cafeteria. This exciting event aims to raise funds to support Schulter Athletics and Cheer programs.

Chili enthusiasts are invited to showcase their culinary skills and compete for bragging rights and prizes. There will be two divisions: Student and Non-Student, making it a fun competition for everyone in the community. Entry into the cook-off is $10 per chili.

Participants will vie for top honors with cash prizes in the form of Walmart gift cards: the firstplace winner will receive a $25 gift card, second place will take home a $15 gift card and third place will be awarded a $10 gift card.

The competition will be judged by a distinguished panel, including School Board Member Mike Mahan, Volunteer Firefighter Roger Ennis and FBC Minister Kevin Wadsworth. Their discerning palates will determine who makes the best chili in Schulter.

For those interested in participating or seeking more information, Athletic Director Price Brown can be contacted via email at pbrown@schulter. k12.ok.us or by calling or texting 918-652-1492.

Come out and support Schulter Athletics and Cheer while enjoying an evening of delicious chili and community spirit.
