Deep Fork Community

Action Board Meeting | Deep Fork Community Action Foundation will hold its annual board meeting Thursday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. at Work Ready Okmulgee, located at 100 W. 7th St. in Okmulgee. This will be the last scheduled meeting of the year.

VFW Post 1189 Meeting | VFW Post 1189 will meet Saturday, Nov. 15, at 11 a.m.

November 19 KOC Bingo | Knights of Columbus Council 2394 with St. Michael Catholic Church in Henryetta will host a Bingo Night Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at the church, located at 1004 W. Gentry in Henryetta. All regular Bingo winners will receive a gift along with the money for that game. The Blackout winner will receive a financial prize and a turkey. Invite all your friends because the more that play, the bigger the payout! There will be a concession stand. Doors open at 6 p.m.

November 29 Cookie Crawl | The Okmulgee Times will once again host the annual Cookie Crawl, in association with Shop Small Saturday, on Saturday, Nov. 29, beginning at 10 a.m. Local businesses will participate in this fun, community-driven shopping event featuring sweet treats, giveaways and holiday cheer. Businesses interested in joining can contact Katina at 918-756-3600 for details. Keep an eye on the Okmulgee Times newspaper and Facebook page for more information.

Ongoing Events Topsy Turvey | Topsy Turvey at First United Methodist Church is held the second Tuesday of each month from 5-7 p.m. at the Rowe Family Life Center, 8th St. & Okmulgee Ave. in Okmulgee. The program is aimed at creating an inclusive, multi-generational worship experience for people of all ages, backgrounds and stages of their faith journey.
