Momentum continues to build for the Wilson Tigers, who extended their winning streak to three games with a convincing 44-12 victory over the Gans Grizzlies. The Tigers’ recent surge has been impressive they’ve been outscoring opponents by more than 30 points per game during the stretch.
Wilson’s defense kept control throughout the night, while the offense struck with a balanced attack that Gans struggled to contain. The victory not only keeps the Tigers trending upward, but also adds to their success against the Grizzlies, having topped them in their last headto- head meeting as well.
With the win, Wilson improves to 5-2 on the season. Gans, on the other hand, slipped to 2-6 and has now dropped four straight.
The Tigers will return home on Friday, Oct. 31, welcoming Copan for a 7 p.m. kickoff as they work to strengthen their postseason positioning. Gans will take the upcoming week off before facing Webbers Falls on Nov. 7.
