The Henryetta Lady Knights capped off a strong 2025 cross country season Saturday with a 13th-place team finish at the OSSAA Class 3A State Championships at North Rock Creek in Shawnee.
Racing against the top programs statewide, Henryetta delivered a consistent and determined team effort across the 3.2-kilometer course. Senior standout Stormi Waquie led the Knights with a 16th-place finish, crossing the line in 13:23.3 and securing a Top-20 state ranking in her final high school race.
Junior Emma Avery followed with a solid performance, placing 41st overall in 13:57.2, while sophomore Brooklyn Moore closed in 14:30.2 to claim 71st. Seniors Abby Adams and Molly Carver rounded out the scoring for Henryetta, finishing 82nd and 83rd with times of 14:48.3 and 14:49.2, respectively.
Henryetta finished with a 13:46 team average, placing them ahead of multiple regional contenders and highlighting the depth of the program’s development this fall.
