The Okmulgee Rotary Club invites the community to join in the Halloween fun with a festive Costume Contest set for Friday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at Pocket Park, located between Hoppers and Brit’s on 6th Street in downtown Okmulgee.
This year’s contest is being held in partnership with Vets for Pets, and promises a fun evening for participants of all ages – and even their furry friends.
Contestants can compete in a variety of categories including:
• Baby/Toddler
• Elementary Age
• Middle School Age
• High School Age
• Adult
• Pet Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category, with organizers promising “lots of exciting prizes” for the most creative and spooky costumes.
Okmulgee Main Street’s Scare on the Square will also be held that afternoon in downtown Okmulgee. More details will be coming soon.
