Get ready for a night of entertainment, laughter and hometown pride, as Okmulgee’s Got Talent V takes the stage this Saturday, Oct. 18, at the historic Orpheum Theatre in downtown Okmulgee. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at 210 W. 7th Street. Admission is just $6, and children 12 and under get in free.
Now in its fifth year, Okmulgee’s Got Talent has become one of the community’s favorite annual showcases, giving local performers of all ages a chance to shine under the spotlight. From singers and dancers to musicians, comedians and specialty acts, each performer brings their own unique spark to the stage in front of a lively hometown audience.
During the evening, be sure to join the Chicken Dance, as all children 12 and under are invited to join in the fun on stage. Every young participant will receive a special certificate to commemorate that they “danced on the Orpheum Theatre stage.”
Organizers say the event is all about celebrating community spirit and giving locals a platform to show off their creativity and courage. The evening promises family-friendly fun and plenty of surprises, with past editions of the show featuring everything from country singers to comedy skits and even magic acts.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and seating is first-come, firstserve. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to grab a good seat and enjoy the show.
