The Friends of the Okmulgee Public Library’s annual Book Sale is currently underway through tomorrow, Oct. 18, at the Okmulgee Public Library, located at 218 S. Okmulgee Street.
Book lovers of all ages can look forward to a wide selection of titles at bargain prices, ranging from bestsellers and children’s books to cookbooks, classics and hidden gems. Proceeds from the sale help support library programs and services throughout the year.
The sale continues throughout the week with the following schedule:
• Friday, Oct. 17: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 18: 8:30-11:30 a.m. Bag/Box Sale Day The event concludes Saturday morning with the ever-popular Bag/Box Sale, where shoppers can fill a bag or box with books for one low price – a fantastic opportunity for educators, parents, students, and avid readers to stock up.
