Downtown Okmulgee set to rock during Chili Fest
By Patrick Ford Editor

Downtown Okmulgee will be alive with music, laughter and the savory aroma of chili this Saturday, as Okmulgee Main Street presents the Harvest Spoon Chili Festival. Visitors can look forward to a full day of entertainment, contests, food and family fun in the heart of the community.

Music lovers are in for a treat with live performances sponsored by Bluepeak Fiber Internet, ensuring a great connection – and great vibes – all day long. The festival’s music lineup kicks off with The Tradesmen taking the stage at 10:30 a.m., followed by Suga Loaf Watson & Beyana performing from 1-3 p.m.

In addition to the musical acts, attendees can browse vendor booths, cheer on runners and enjoy a variety of competitions, from chili cook-offs to cornhole and pumpkin chunkin’. Families will also find plenty to do with the Kids Zone, Farmers Market and the Preston Jump Rope Team performance.
