Preston Schools proudly announced that 8th grader Harlee Britt was selected to perform in the prestigious Eastern District Honor Choir as an Alto, an honor that recognizes her exceptional vocal talent, dedication and commitment to musical excellence.
The Eastern District Honor Choir brings together top student vocalists from across the region, offering them the chance to rehearse and perform under the guidance of distinguished conductors. Selection for the choir is highly competitive, requiring strong musicianship, thorough preparation and demonstrated skill.
Harlee’s achievement highlights not only her personal hard work, but also the support and encouragement provided by Preston Schools. School officials expressed their pride in Harlee, noting that “her enthusiasm for music and commitment to her art make her an outstanding representative for both our school and community.”
The choir will perform Tuesday, Oct. 21, in Muskogee, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the talents of the region’s finest young singers, including Harlee Britt.
