The Okmulgee Times and Henryetta Free-Lance will welcome the public for an Open House this Friday, Oct. 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. As part of National Newspaper Week, patrons are invited to stop by the office, located at 320 W. 6th Street in downtown Okmulgee, for a brief visit, explore old photographs and memorabilia and enjoy light refreshments.
The event will feature free drawings for prizes and giveaways, and everyone who stops by will receive a complimentary two-month digital subscription.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about Sasquatch Printing products and the services offered by the local newspapers. Whether you’re curious about the history of the publications or interested in printing services, everyone is encouraged to drop in and take a look.
As the Times and Free-Lance celebrate over a century of service, their legacy endures as a testament to the enduring power of local journalism. The newspaper continues to be a vital source of information, connecting the community and fostering a sense of shared identity.
No RSVP is required – just come by and enjoy a casual visit with the Okmulgee Times and Henryetta Free-Lance team.
