July 20, 1978 – September 30, 2025

Lora Jo Jackson, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, in Okmulgee at 47 years of age. She was born on July 20, 1978, in Claremore to Joe Jackson and Flora (Carpitcher) Jackson. Lora married Jeremy Dale Dearman on May 11, 2023, in Okmulgee after being together for 14 years. She got her Associates Degree in Business from University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. Lora was employed at Enterprise since May 16, 2012, as a Senior Billing Coordinator. She loved hanging out with family and friends, and watching the Oklahoma Sooners. She treated her sister’s kids and grandkids, as her own.

Lora is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Sunday Jackson and Flora Mae (Carpitcher) Jackson.

She is survived by her beloved husband Jeremy Dale Dearman; one stepson Korey Dearman of Okmulgee; four stepdaughters, Hanna Dearman of Okmulgee, Autumn and Morgan Dumond of Jacksonville, N.C., Macee and Deacon McKeevor of Okmulgee and Madelyn Dearman of Okmulgee; two step-granddaughters, Kaisley Cox and Briella Dumond; two sisters, Marva Jackson of Glenpool and Lisa and David McBride of Cushing; two nieces, Marissa Proctor and Joshua Simpson of Jenks and Madison Proctor and Daylen Warrior of Checotah; one nephew, Daniel Holmes of Glenpool; three great-nephews, Richard Svnte, Joe Tecumseh Simpson and Mateo Don Warrior; one great-niece, Malani Mae Warrior; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family and close friends.

Viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home for immediate family only, per Lora’s wishes. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. October 6, 2025, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dale Litsey officiating. Interment will follow at Okmulgee Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Holmes, Joshua Simpson, Daylen Warrior, Korey Dearman, David McBride and Morgan Dumond.

Refreshments will be offered at the Jackson Home following the conclusion of services.
