NARFE to meet Oct. 9

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) Chapter 0730 will meet Thursday, Oct. 9, at 11 a.m. at Shoney’s, 610 E. Main St. in Henryetta.

The program for the month is being presented by Kerin Barngrover, BlueCross/BlueShield Government Account Representative for Eastern Oklahoma. She will give an update of the 2026 premium benefit changes for the BCBS Insurance Company and the Medicare Part B premium expenses reimbursement program.

The Federal Benefits Open Season for 2026 will be Monday, Nov. 10, through Monday, Dec. 8. During this time period, federal employees and retirees may enroll in or change their current enrollments in several health benefit programs and the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.

All active/retired federal employees and guests are invited to attend.
