Robert Lynn Guy, age 74, passed away on September 13, 2025, in Tulsa.
Robert was born on May 19, 1951, in Anadarko to Donald Guy and Ruth Park. He graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1969 and went on to earn a master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma in 1973.
Robert dedicated his career to helping others, retiring in 2016 from Cherokee Nation Health, where he served many years as the Social Services Coordinator at the Indian Hospital.
He was a devoted pet lover, caring for six cats, and enjoyed reading and working around his home.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Guy and Ruth Parks and his older brother, Donald Clifford Guy, Jr. He is survived by his younger May 19, 1951 – September 13, 2025
brother, Steven B. Guy; nephew, Cory Guy; niece, Kate Guy and dear friend, Rosemary Whitewater.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2025, at McClendon- Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home.
