Baylee Kay Boydston
Obituaries
September 10, 2025
Baylee Kay Boydston

Baylee Kay Boydston passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 17. She was born on August 28, 2008, in Kansas City, Mo. Baylee was lovingly welcomed by Kristi and Curtis on her Gotcha Day of June 2, 2011.

She attended Morris Schools through the third grade before continuing her education with Epic Charter Schools.

Baylee had a tender heart and a deep love for animals. She never turned away a creature in need – whether it was a stray, an injured animal, or simply one that needed a little extra care. Many of these rescues quickly became cherished pets. She was an active member of Morris 4-H, beginning her involvement at a very young age. Baylee enjoyed showing pigs and rabbits, but her greatest joy came from working with her show cattle.

Baylee was also a bouji kind of girl who loved all things sparkly. She had a natural talent for hair and make-up, often practicing new looks and sharing her skills with others. One of her favorite memories was helping do her sister’s hair on prom day. She cherished time spent hanging out with her friends and listening to music.

She was a member of Old Post Cowboy Church, where she accepted Jesus as her Savior last year and was baptized. Her faith was a source of joy and comfort, and she lived with a bright spirit that touched everyone around her.

Baylee is preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Furnell; great-grandparents, Ruth Crenshaw, Cap and Marie Striplin, Ervin and Jeanne Boydston, Floyd Collins, and Jeannelle Boyd.

She is survived by her loving parents, Curtis June 2, 2011 – September 5, 2025

and Kristi Boydston; sister, Cierra Boydston; and brother, Cale Boydston. She is also survived by her grandparents, Linda and Dan Boydston, Rick and Sandy Crenshaw, and Dale and Cheri Furnell; great-grandparents, Jack and Sherry Crenshaw; aunts and uncles, Derrick and Jamie Crenshaw, Buddy and Michelle Green, Jordan and Kasey Saunders, and Jerry and Jennifer Wilson; cousins, Spencer and Parker Crenshaw, Ethan and Emilee Green, Cannon and Callan Saunders and Jake and Jessica Wilson. Baylee will also be deeply missed by her good friends, Emma Selvidge, Brylee Ausbrooks and Andrea Smith.

Viewing will be held from 1-6 p.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Morris First Baptist Church, with Pastor Dakota Bunch officiating. Casket bearers will be Derrick Crenshaw, Jordan Saunders, Buddy Green, Ethan Green, Jake Wilson, Floyd Robison, Daniel Neely and Talon Alexander.

Arrangements and cremation services have been entrusted to McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Baylee’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon-winters. com.
