What Prayer Does for Us
An interesting song from “back in the day” entitled “The Royal Telephone” was composed by F.M. Lehman and published by Stamps-Baxter Music Company. Wording of the first verse and chorus is, “Central’s never busy; always on the line. You may hear from Heaven almost anytime. ‘Tis a royal service, free for one and all. When you get in trouble, give this royal line a call. Telephone to Glory, oh what joy divine! I can feel the current moving on the line. Built by God the Father for His loved and own. We may talk to Jesus on this royal telephone.” What a glorious reality!
