MPS board approves policy updates, staffing decisions as school starts

The Morris Public Schools Board of Education convened for its regular meeting Monday addressing a full agenda of financial reports, policy revisions, staffing changes, and preparations for the 2025-26 academic year. Superintendent Becky Alexander and board members worked through a series of key items aimed at ensuring a smooth start to the new school term, which begins Thursday.
