In a previous column, we considered that there are natural desires we have just by being born into the human race. These basic desires such as food and care when we are babies “keep the body and soul together” in our early days and later expand to include a wide range of emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs, as well as a much greater appetite for “the finer things of life.”
