New YMCA pool hours announced

The Okmulgee Family YMCA has announced updated hours for its outdoor pool, effective Aug. 11-31. These adjustments aim to better accommodate members’ schedules while continuing to offer a variety of aquatic programs, including open swim, lap swim and water aerobics.

— Open Swim

Open swim will now be available during the following times:

• Monday – Friday: 4-6 p.m.

• Saturday: 12-6 p.m.

• Sunday: 1-6 p.m. These extended weekend hours provide more opportunities for families and individuals to enjoy the pool during the late summer season.

— Lap Swim For those looking to get in some early or evening laps, dedicated lap swim times are now scheduled as follows:

• Monday – Friday: 9-11:50 a.m.

• Monday – Thursday: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

— Member Family Swim Exclusive to YMCA members, Member Family Swim will take place every Friday evening from 6-8 p.m., offering a great way for families to wrap up the week together at the pool.

— Water Aerobics

Fitness enthusiasts can continue to enjoy water aerobics sessions at these times:

• Monday – Friday: 1111:50 a.m.

• Monday- Thursday evenings: 6:10-7:30 p.m. These sessions are ideal for all fitness levels and provide a low-impact workout in a fun, supportive environment.

— Day Pass Rates

The YMCA welcomes both members and non-members to enjoy the pool. Day pass rates are as follows:

• Members: Free

• Non-Members: $8 per day — Holiday Closures

Please note the outdoor pool is closed on the following holidays:

• Memorial Day

• July 4th -As summer winds down, the Okmulgee YMCA continues to prioritize community wellness, family time and accessible fitness options. For more information or to inquire about memberships, contact the Okmulgee Family YMCA directly or visit during open hours.
