• Operators assert output increases - A number of coal operators here said that the production of coal for the entire field showed an increase in July over June of more than 25 percent. There is said to be an increase over the same months of last year of approximately 20 cars per day, with two large mines yet idle that were operating then and approximately 400 men are employed in this industry.
