Ricky Dennis Creason
Obituaries
July 30, 2025
Ricky Dennis Creason

Ricky Dennis Creason came into this world on January 23, 1944, to Troy and Stella Creason in Hectorville. He entered Heaven’s gates on July 21, 2025.

Rick grew up in Okmulgee, where he met the love of his life, Virginia Marie Wilson. It has been said that no man ever loved a woman as much as he did Virginia. Rick and Virginia took their vows on August 27, 1961. Their beautiful love story brought about three beautiful children: Ricky, Tedford, Kimberlyn and Troy.

Rick was a jack of all trades. He worked at various department stores in Okmulgee, sold cookware (man, he could cook) and worked at Flint Steel until he decided to open up his own company building trailers. Rick could build anything. Despite all of this, Rick’s true passion was coaching. He spent many years coaching various little league football and baseball teams. He was Coach Creason to many young men.

Rick never met a stranger, and if he did, it was not for very long. Anyone who had a conversation with him could tell his love of two things: sports and his grandchildren. Rick spent the last thirty years chasing his grand kids and great grandchildren around Oklahoma watching them play ball. Out of all his achievements, Rick was most proud to be a Papa and he was the best at it.

Rick was greeted in Heaven by his parents Troy and Stella Creason, and older brother Gene Creason, He had a long awaited reunion with his beautiful bride Virginia. Who awaited them with their baby boy Troy!

January 23, 1944 – July 21, 2025

Rick leaves behind son Ted Creason and wife Nina and daughter Kim Williamson and husband Jerry. He leaves behind grandkids: Beau Gatson, Lincoln and Grady Wittman, Kamryn Williamson, Jayce and Karsyn Sanderson and newborn Easton Wilson. Along with his grandkids came his greatest love, the great grandkids. And brother Jerry and wife Carla Creason.

Rick will be missed by everyone, but especially his beloved Boston Terriers, Ambrose and Cena. The roads will be lonely without Rick and his best friend Ann Bingman tearing up the streets.

Visitation for Ricky will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 2-7 p.m. at McClendon- Winters Funeral Home in Okmulgee. Services will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10 a.m. at The Refuge Church in Okmulgee, with Rev. Terry Harmon officiating. Casket bearers will be Ethan Sanderson, Matthew Wilson, Alex Proctor, Caleb Wittman, Gallen Sheneman, Sidney Gaston, Dick Bingman and Mike McBroom.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mc-Clendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee. Memories, condolences, photos and videos may be shared with the family on Rick’s Tribute Page at www.mcclendon- winters.com.
