Henryetta Knights host Summer Pride Night
B:
July 30, 2025
Henryetta Knights host Summer Pride Night

The Henryetta Knights kicked off the season spirit in full force last Thursday evening during their Summer Pride Night event at Cameron Field. Organized by the Henryetta Quarterback Club, the event brought together families, fans and community members to celebrate the team’s hard work and usher in a new era of Golden Knights football under the leadership of new head coach Kevin Adler.

Attendees were treated to a showcase of the team’s offseason progress during a “weighta- thon,” offering a glimpse at the strength and determination players have built through summer training. Food trucks lined the field as supporters mingled with players and coaching staff, bringing a festive atmosphere to the stadium.

The evening also served as an introduction to Coach Adler, whose impressive resume includes coaching stints at powerhouse Oklahoma programs from 4A to 6A, including two state championship titles with Bixby High School. His arrival has generated a fresh wave of excitement as the Knights prepare for the upcoming season.

Instead of charging admission, guests were encouraged to bring practical donations – cases of water, Gatorade or laundry detergent – all going directly to support the Knights football program.

Summer Pride Night was more than just an event; it was a spirited show of unity, energy, and optimism as Henryetta gears up for what promises to be an exciting football season.
