Okmulgee Alumni Association Presents Scholarships

Several 2025 Okmulgee County seniors graduates were presented scholarships last week as they prepare to begin post-high school life at various colleges. Jan Colombin, president of the Okmulgee Alumni Association, presented the Herman L. Brown Memorial Scholarship to Beggs graduate Jaxon Remington. From Okmulgee High School, Brandon Simon was presented the Herman Brown Memorial Scholarship, and Talia Rice was presented the Jake Goodin/Okmulgee Alumni Room Scholarship. Joining in the presentation is Secretary/Treasurer Della Higgs and Patrick Ford (not pictured.) Look for some upcoming information on how to become a member of the Okmulgee Alumni Association and some fundraising opportunities.
