Give Me Liberty

America was founded just over 249 years ago on godly principles, and one of the evidences of this is found on our national Liberty Bell. This bell was cast in Philadelphia, and these words from Leviticus 25:10 are inscribed on it, “Proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” This famous bell cracked on July 8, 1835, as it tolled the passing of Chief Justice John Marshall.
