OCSO investigates attempted cattle theft in Twin Hills area
By Patrick Ford Editor

The Okmulgee County Sheriff ’s Office (OCSO) is actively investigating an attempted cattle theft that occurred recently in the Twin Hills area. According to Sheriff Eddy Rice, unknown suspects cut through fences and used horses in an effort to corral livestock from private property.

The brazen attempt has raised concerns among rural residents, especially as thieves appear to be targeting cattle under the cover of night.

Sheriff Rice urges residents to be vigilant and watch for suspicious vehicles such as cattle haulers, trucks pulling stock trailers, or horse trailers traveling at odd hours. Anyone who sees such activity is encouraged to immediately contact the Sheriff ’s Office and request a deputy response.

To report suspicious activity, call the Okmulgee County Sheriff ’s Office at 918-756-4311.

The investigation remains ongoing. Additional details will be released as they become available.
