Okmulgee County Humane Society will break ground on its state-of-the-art pet adoption center and launch a bold new identity – OKCO Humane Society.
Community members, leadership, media and supporters are invited to join the Groundbreaking Celebration on Monday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at 315 E. 5th Street in Okmulgee, the future home of the new OKCO Adoption Center.
“We invite everyone to join us in this wonderful celebration as we break ground on our new OKCO adoption center,” says Aimee Robinson, board president of OKCO Humane Society. “We could not be more grateful for this transformative chapter for our organization, with immense gratitude to the Sam Viersen Family Foundation and the acquisition of this beautiful downtown historic structure. We look forward to helping more animals in need, serving the community in even more impactful ways, and being an integral part of the continued revitalization of Historic Downtown Okmulgee.”
The event will mark a milestone moment in the organization’s commitment to saving lives and strengthening the bond between pets and people across the region. Attendees will enjoy inspiring remarks and the official unveiling of the new OKCO brand.
