In a recent column, we quoted one of the simplest definitions of the grace of our Lord as, “the goodness of God toward mankind.” We all have experienced His great goodness, kindness and love in the physical realm from the moment of our birth and even before as each of us was formed, made to develop and was protected by this gracious God from the time of our conception. The Bible reminds us that, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights,” (James 1:17).
