The Board Heard from Amanda Hammock with CREOKS and she explained that she had spoken to OCCJA and is asking for a transfer for the role of Project Manager from OCCJA to CREOKS on the Opioid Abatement Grant. The Board asked for an addendum to the contract stating the change. She said that they would send that over this week for signatures next week. A motion was made by Wallace for them to oversee the Grant as Project Manager and it was seconded by Ward. Vote: Ferreira, yes; Ward, yes; Wallace, yes. The Board approved the Lease/ Purchase for the wheeled excavator for District one with Mabrey Bank. Motion, Wallace; Second, Ward. Vote: Ferreira, yes; Ward, yes; Wallace, yes.

The Board tabled Bid #9 for the 2023 or newer Truck for the Treasurers Tax Deputy. Motion, Wallace; Second, Ward. Vote: Ferreira, yes; Ward, yes; Wallace, yes. The Board awarded for Bid #7 for 2023 or newer 1 ton truck for Grayson Fire Department to Harlan Ford. Motion, Ward; Second, Ferreira. Vote: Ferreira, yes; Ward, yes; Wallace, yes.

The Board approved the following payment of claims; Okmulgee County Governmental Building Authority for $145,598.35 with warrant #11 and Full Tilt Customs for $3,200.00 with warrant #46, Batch 42. Motion, Ferreira; Second, Ward. Vote: Ferreira, yes; Ward, yes; Wallace, yes.

Emergency Management Director Jeff Moore reported that the week was busy with flooding issues. He stated that the Initial Damage Assessment was completed. Sunday’s storms left a lot of trees and debris in the roads and he warned of today’s severe weather potential.

Under New Business: Amanda Hammock with CREOKS addressed the Board concerning the ability to deposit the 781 Funds. She stated that she would send over a form that will allow funds to be deposited.

Commissioner Ward presented the Board with a Project Approval Letter with Muscogee Creek Nation to due a bridge project on the Old Morris Highway. Motion, Wallace; Second, Ward. Description: Interior and Exterior of Bussey Tower Standpipe (90’H x 15’Ø) A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid shall be attached to all bids as a guarantee that the successful bidder will, within ten (10) days of the date of notice of award, enter into contract and file the required bonds. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
