Senator Bryan Logan sworn in

Bryan Logan, a lifelong resident of Paden was officially sworn in Wednesday as the State Senator for District 8 during a ceremony on the Senate Floor today.

Senate District 8 includes portions of Creek, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okfuskee and Ok- mulgee Counties.

A Republican, Senator Logan brings to the Capitol a wealth of experience as a dedicated pastor, small business owner, agricultural producer and public servant with a strong background in local and state government leadership.

“It is the honor of my life to represent the people of Senate District 8,” Senator Logan said. “I will stand firm on the biblical and constitutional principles that have guided me throughout my life. I’m here to defend our values, protect our freedoms, serve with integrity and do what is right for not only Senate District 8, but for all the people of Oklahoma. My goal is to be a strong voice for our rural communities, our families and our freedoms. I’m ready to get to work to improve the lives of the people in District 8 and across our state.”

Senator Logan has served as pastor of Paden Pentecostal Holiness Church since 2009 and has been a small business owner in the residential construction and custom carpentry industry since 2005.

He and his wife, Lindsey, both graduates of Paden High School, continue to live on the same section of land where Logan was raised. Together, they run a cow-calf operation and are active in local agricultural leadership. Logan currently serves as County President for the American Farmers and Ranchers Insurance Okfuskee County Chapter.

In addition to his local commitments, Logan brings valuable statewide leadership experience to the Senate. He serves on the Oklahoma Construction Industries Board and is Secretary/ Treasurer of the Oklahoma Building Inspectors Association. He also serves on the Residential and Commercial Advisory Board for Gordon Cooper Technology Center.

Logan’s public service background includes six years managing the Community Development Block Grant Program for the City of Shawnee, where he coordinated housing rehabilitation efforts and worked closely with state and federal partners.
