Treasure Hunters Rejoice

Get ready to clear your trunks and fill your wallets – Okmulgee’s biggest shopping event of the summer is right around the corner. From June 5-8, the entire town will transform into one giant bargain-hunting paradise during the Okmulgee City-Wide Garage Sale.

Whether you’re a seasoned yard sale warrior or just love the thrill of uncovering a one-of-a-kind deal, this four-day treasure hunt is not to be missed. With the City of Okmulgee waiving the usual permit fee, it’s easier than ever to host a sale or go on a shopping spree around town.

“We’re expecting more sales than ever this year,” said a representative from the Okmulgee Times. “It’s the perfect chance for the community to come together, clean out their closets and find new treasures.”

— Hosting a Yard Sale?

Want to be part of the action and bring the bargain hunters to your doorstep? For just $25, sellers will receive:

• An ad in the Okmulgee Times that will run twice

• A spot on the exclusive garage sale map

• Two bright and bold yard sale signs

• And best of all – no city permit required! Stop by the Okmulgee Times office at 320 W. 6th Street in downtown Okmulgee or call 918-756-3600 to reserve your spot today.

— Shoppers – Start Your Engines!

Not sure where to start your treasure hunt? The Okmulgee Times will publish a comprehensive list of garage sale locations in print and online, so you can plan your route and hit all the hotspots. Check out the editions during sale week or visit www.yourokmulgee. com for the digital map. From antiques and collectibles to kids’ clothes, home goods, and maybe even that elusive lava lamp you’ve been searching for, you never know what treasures await around the next corner.

So grab your coffee, lace up your sneakers and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of deals, laughs and community fun. Let’s make this the biggest city-wide sale Okmulgee has ever seen.

Happy hunting!
