Okmulgee County Shrine Club is selling Vidalia sweet onions, and Jan Colombin thanks the community in advance for their support. The sale will be Friday and Saturday at the corner of 8th and Wood Drive, and be sure to look for the signs. This fundraiser supports the day-to-day operations of Bedouin Shrine Temple and helps cover the transportation cost of patients to and from the Shrine hospitals for treatment. Shriners hospitals serve children around the world for orthopedic conditions, burn care, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate care. These treatments are provided free of charge. If you know a child that can benefit from these services please contact any Shriner for assistance. The group would love to help.
