The 2025 Heartland Conference spring softball awards have been announced, with Preston High School leading the pack in both team standings and individual honors.
Preston claimed the top spot in the final conference standings, followed by Eufaula in second and Beggs in third. Rounding out the standings were Henryetta in fourth, Morris in fifth and Kellyville in sixth.
Coach Jimmy Hurst of Preston was named Coach of the Year, highlighting his leadership in guiding the Lady Pirates to a first-place finish. Preston standout Taylen Star was honored as the conference Most Valuable Player, capping off an impressive season on the field.
Also representing Preston in the top awards were Na’Braijhanae “Nae” Phillips, named Offensive Player of the Year, and Eufaula’s Kadie Joe Tidwell, who earned Defensive Player of the Year for her outstanding performance.
Selections for the All-Conference Team were awarded based on final team standings, with the first-place team receiving three selections and each subsequent team receiving fewer:
