The Okmulgee FFA program is gearing up for its third annual Spring Plant Sale this Friday and Saturday. The two-day sale will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ag-Ed Building, located on N. Central Street between 1st and 2nd Streets. The event showcases the culmination of months of student-led work. On sale will be a diverse array of plants including hanging Petunia baskets, vibrant Coleus planters, salvia, Atlanta, philodendron, tomatoes, peppers, rosemary, lavender, basil and a wide selection of succulents such as string of dolphins and hen and chicks. As the school year wraps up, the Okmulgee FFA is planning their annual banquet on May 15 at 6 p.m. at the Okmulgee Fairgrounds. Tickets are available for the event.
