Easter weekend events planned across county

As Easter approaches, families across Okmulgee County are invited to celebrate with a series of festive community events, from sunrise services to fun-filled egg hunts. Here’s a roundup of what’s happening:

Saturday, April 19 Okmulgee Service League Easter Egg Hunt YMCA Parking Lot • 106 W 13th Street, Okmulgee • 10 a.m.

Children ages 0-10 are invited to join this free event hosted by the Okmulgee Service League. Bring a basket and prepare for a fun-filled hunt with colorful eggs and family-friendly activities.

— Henryetta Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt Nichols Park, Henryetta 10 a.m. Sharp

With over 4,500 filled eggs and prizes including bicycles for each age group (2-3, 4-6, and 7-10), this beloved tradition returns thanks to the Henryetta Lions Club. Families are encouraged to arrive early for parking and to line up by age group.

— Gospel Tabernacle United Pentecostal Easter Egg Hunt 406 E. Spruce Street, Henryetta 11 a.m.

Gospel Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Henryetta will hold an Easter Egg Hunt by age. The event will feature food and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

— Sunday, April 20 Easter Service with The Refuge Claude Cox Omniplex Fairground Road, Okmulgee 10:45 a.m.

Join The Refuge for a joyful Easter worship service. All are welcome to attend this uplifting celebration of faith, hope and renewal.

— Immanuel Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt Event 805 W Broadway Street, Henryetta 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Immanuel Baptist Church invites families to a special Easter Egg Hunt directly following their morning service. It’s a perfect chance for kids to enjoy games, treats, and springtime fun. Call Justin at 918-758-5744 for more information.

– Community members are encouraged to bring family and friends to enjoy these uplifting and family-oriented Easter weekend events. Whether attending a service, participating in an egg hunt, or simply soaking up the sunshine, there are plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories this Easter season.
