Local teams shine at Henryetta Invitational

Athletes from Okmulgee County took to the track and field Friday, March 28, for the 2025 Henryetta John JP Philippe Invitational, showcasing their strength, speed, and stamina against a large field of competitors. Henryetta hosted the event and delivered an impressive performance alongside fellow county schools Morris, Dewar and Wilson. Several area athletes brought home medals and helped their teams place well in the overall standings.

In the girls’ division, Henryetta finished 4th overall with 74 points, Dewar claimed 5th with 59 points and Morris earned 8th with 40 points. Wilson tied for 12th with 10 points. On the boys’ side, Henryetta placed 4th with 63 points, Dewar followed at 9th with 26 and Morris was 14th with 4 points. Wilson earned 1 point.
