We hit our first big legislative deadline this past week, the fifth of the 2025 session. March 6 marked the last day for Senate committees to consider bills filed in this chamber. While we’ve already begun hearing bills on the floor that cleared this first hurdle, now our attention focuses on the remaining bills ready for floor votes. I’m happy to report that we approved many measures that will have positive impacts on areas like mental health access and public education.
