Dewar HS Festival this week

Dewar High School is set to host an exciting lineup of baseball action this week as teams from across the region gather for the Dewar High School Festival. The event, which runs Thursday through Saturday, will feature a full schedule of games, highlighting some of the area’s most competitive high school teams.

The festival will take place at Dewar High School and will feature a variety of schools, including Dewar, Barnsdall, AMPO, Gore, Vian, Ripley, Moss and Roff, along with Dewar JV and Barnsdall JV.

— Schedule

Thursday, March 13

• 1 p.m. – Dewar JV vs. Barnsdall JV

• 3 p.m. – Dewar vs. Barnsdall

• 5 p.m. – Moss vs. AMPO

• 7 p.m. – Gore vs. AMPO — Friday, March 14

• 11 a.m. – Vian vs. Gore

• 1 p.m. – Dewar vs. AMPO

• 3 p.m. – Ripley vs. Moss

• 5 p.m. – Barnsdall vs. Moss • 7 p.m. – Barnsdall vs. Ripley — Saturday, March 15

• 10 a.m. – Gore vs. Moss

• 12 p.m. – Dewar vs. Roff

• 2 p.m. – Dewar vs. Vian

• 4 p.m. – Roff vs. Vian – Each game will feature a two-hour time limit. Run rules in place will include a 12-run lead after three innings, a 10-run lead after four innings and an 8-run lead after 5 innings.

The festival promises to be a thrilling showcase of high school baseball talent, with Dewar taking center stage in three key matchups. The Dragons will face Barnsdall, AMPO, Roff and Vian, looking to put on a strong performance in front of their home crowd.

Baseball enthusiasts are encouraged to come out and support the teams as they compete in a weekend full of exciting games.
