Today, March 7, is the last day to apply for voter registration to be eligible to vote in the April 1 elections. The April election is a multi-district election: Special General Election County Commissioner District 1; Board of Education General Election - Okmulgee Public Schools, Beggs Public Schools, Checotah Public Schools, Haskell Public Schools, Indian Capital Tech Center, Weleetka Public Schools; Statutory Municipal Election - City of Beggs, City of Henryetta, City of Morris; Special Election Weleetka Public Schools - Proposition 1 and Proposition 2; and Special Runoff Primary Election for Oklahoma State Senate District 8.
