Legislative Forum is Friday

The Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce will host a Legislative Forum this Friday, March 7, from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Mabrey Bank meeting room, 111 E. 6th Street in downtown Okmulgee. Chamber Director Sarah Rhodes invites the public to attend.

“We invite you to join us for a legislative forum filled with local residents and prominent leaders from our community,” Rhodes said. “Your presence and participation will be invaluable as we work towards building a better future for all.”

Guests will be Oklahoma House Representatives Scott Fetgatter and Chris Banning and Senator David Bullard.

The Henryetta Chamber of Commerce will also hold their forum at 11 a.m. at Shoney’s to hear from legislators.

Rhodes also announced there will be an Ambassador Chamber Luncheon Friday from 12-2 p.m. at El Avocado Mexican Restaurant, 3499 N. Wood Drive in Okmulgee.

“Are you curious about what it means to be part of our passionate Chamber Ambassador Team,” Rhodes asked. “We are thrilled to extend an invitation to our upcoming Ambassador Chamber Luncheon! This casual, yet significant event will be an excellent occasion to understand what our ambassadors do and how they work tirelessly to serve the community on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce.”

Attendees will be able to mingle and network with the local Ambassadors.

“Join us to see how you can get involved, make a difference and potentially become an Ambassador,” Rhodes said. “We’re hopeful you’ll find the experience rewarding and enjoyable enough to get you ‘hooked.’ Looking forward to seeing you there and potentially welcoming you as a part of our devoted team.”
