Mary Kay Farrill (Ducote) passed away at the age of 67 on February 18, 2025, in Okmulgee surrounded by her loving family. “Kay” was born March 8, 1958, in Ville Plate, La.
Kay was a hard-working single mother for many years to daughters Marie “Angel” and Amanda, until she married Michael Farrill on August 15, 1989. Together, they built and nurtured a happy, loving home for their now three daughters Marie, Amanda, and Katie. Though life wasn’t always easy; Kay did her best to fill her life, and the lives of those around her, with love and laughter.
Kay had a deep love for God and enjoyed singing in the church choir or an occasional solo. She found joy in spending time with those she loved: sitting on her front porch talking to friends and family, going to social events in downtown Okmulgee, or spending an evening playing nighttime hide and seek with snacks and movies in the living room with her grandbabies.
Kay is preceded in death by her life’s love, March 8, 1958 – February 18, 2025
